Virtual High School @ PWCS Summer 2009 Session Calendar

Session Dates: Mon. June 29- Fri. Aug. 7
Students work from any location with internet access (daily) to meet required deadlines. Course orientation, midterm, SOL, and final exams are in-person.

ONLINE Registration: May 18 – June 25

•	Registration is on a space available basis - some courses fill quickly - register early!
•	Courses may be canceled if there are fewer than 5 students enrolled.
•	Tuition must be paid in full before the course begins. Details available under Tuition.

	Orientation: (there are TWO required orientations for VHS)
	The Program orientation is online: Monday June 22 - Sunday June 28. Students work to complete the "mini course" anytime during those dates. All students must take the online orientation and pass the assessments with 100%. The Course orientation is considered the first day of school and is offered in-person Monday June 29 - Battlefield High School Auditorium and Computer Labs: 15000 Graduation Dr., Haymarket, VA 20169. Directions are on the website home page. Course Orientation times: Math, Science, HPE: 1:30 - 3:00 English, Social Studies, Spanish III: 3:30 - 5:00 If a student cannot attend the course orientation in person on 6/29, they must login on that day and complete the assignments from home. It is HIGHLY recommended that the student complete the first day at BHS with their online instructor so they can get off to a good start. Summer school moves VERY quickly. Final grades will be submitted to the base school registrar approximately one week after the end of the course.
